Trial period
What is a trial period?
The trial period is a time during which you use the application under a trial licence. During the trial period you can use the dictionary (or package of dictionaries) free of charge.
Starting the trial period
To start using the dictionary (or package of dictionaries) in trial mode, click Run in trial mode in the dialog box that appears to inform you that you have no licence for the dictionary (or package of dictionaries).
Specifics of the trial period for a package of dictionaries
— If the dictionary you need is available as part of a package of dictionaries, you can start the trial period only for the entire package of dictionaries, and not just for this specific dictionary.
— At the expiry of the trial period for the package of dictionaries, you will not be able to use any dictionaries out of this package for free regardless of whether you have added this dictionary to ABBYY Lingvo or not.
Example. Assume you have added dictionary A from package P to ABBYY Lingvo, but have not added the other dictionaries from package P. You choose to start the trial period for this package of dictionaries and click Run in trial mode in the dialog box that opens. After some time the trial period for package P will expire. Now, if you add any other dictionary B from package P to ABBYY Lingvo, you will not be able to use this dictionary in trial mode.
