What dictionaries are used in translation?
For translation the program uses only the dictionaries shown on the bookshelf of the chosen translation direction (you see their icons above the word list when the bookshelf is not hidden).
If a dictionary is disabled or inaccessible, it is not used in translation.
Note. By default the program uses both local and online dictionaries in translation. To disable automatic use of online dictionaries, choose Tools→Options…→Online Translation and check the option only when I click a link.
Now, to run translation in online dictionaries, you need to click the link Online entries >> in the word card.
Note. The quick translation popup window shows the translation from the first local dictionary on the bookshelf. If the word has no translation in the first local dictionary, the program shows translations from the second dictionary, etc.
