Integration with other applications
To quickly translate words and phrases in Microsoft® Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer®, you can use the context menu and the ABBYY Lingvo x3 button.
Advice. You can use the context menu and the ABBYY Lingvo x3 button in Microsoft Outlook® when editing your messages.
This is possible when Microsoft Word is used as a message editor in Microsoft Outlook (see Microsoft Outlook settings).
Note. During full installation, ABBYY Lingvo x3 is integrated with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer (integration components are installed).
If you do not wish to install integration components when installing ABBYY Lingvo x3, choose Custom.
Context menu
While working with Microsoft Word or Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can easily translate a word or phrase on the page using the context (dropdown) menu.
Right-click the word and choose Translate with ABBYY Lingvo x3 in the dropdown menu.
To translate a phrase, highlight it in the text, right-click and choose Translate with ABBYY Lingvo x3 in the dropdown menu.

Use the ABBYY Lingvo x3 button on the Microsoft Word taskbar to quickly translate words and phrases.
Simply highlight the needed word or phrase and click .
Advice. To translate a word, all you need to do is place the pointer over it and press .
Specifics of working with Microsoft Word 2007
To quickly translate a word or phrase, highlight it in the text and click Translate Selection on the tab.
You can also enter the word or phrase in the entry field on the tab and click .
